Medicare & Medicare Supplements
Medicare and Medicaid programs have been around since July 1965, when President Lyndon B. Johnson signed a bill creating them. At its origin, Original Medicare consisted of two primary parts, Part A & Part B. Though many changes have taken place since 1965, Original Medicare still exists with additional parts C (Medicare Advantage) and D (prescription Drugs) now available.
With so many changes and additions to the Medicare program, understanding the basics can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in. Whether you’ve been enrolled for years or you are eligible to sign up for the first time, Caliber Investments is here to provide guidance and answer your questions.
The three primary ways that we assist our clients with their Medicare needs are:
- General education on Medicare and how it works
- Education on Medicare Supplement coverage
- Assistance by a licensed insurance professional with finding & enrolling in the Medicare supplement plan that best suits the client’s needs.
Medicare Supplements help you budget for health expenses and offer you the flexibility to choose your doctor – and the plans are guaranteed renewable every year as long as you pay your premium and the plan is available. We recommend reviewing your current Medicare Supplement policy every 2-3 years in order to compare premium costs & coverage options.
Whether you are currently enrolled in Medicare and/or a Medicare Supplement plan or are starting the process for the first time, please feel free to contact our office to set up a time to come in. We look forward to answering your questions and providing you with personalize guidance.
